Welcome

We would like to warmly welcome you to the resources and ambiance of our cozy Lending Library. The focus of the ICCNE Library is to provide a home to an impressive collection of Irish books, music, videos, art, exhibits and related material.

Library Hours

We are open on Friday evenings 7:00pm - 10:00pm and also on the first Sunday of the month following Mass (Oct - May).

The ICCNE Library

Currently our library is home to over twenty four hundred books which are on display in the library. We have estimated two thousand more titles in storage. Subjects range from Irish & Irish American History - Irish & Irish American Politics - Genealogy - Irish Music - - Irish Literature - Celtic Mythology & Spirituality - Irish Art - Ireland Travel - Irish Language - Irish Cooking - Irish Children's books and more. We are a lending library for ICCNE members.

We also have approximately 500 Irish Music LPs, some of which are rare 78s. We also have many CDs and cassette tapes. This collection of Irish music will soon be cataloged and digitized and made available to our members. Continue to watch this page for updates.

The ICCNE library has also produced various exhibits. Among our exhibits are "Notable Irish Women." "Irish & Irish American Congressional Medal of Honor Recipients" and "Robert Emmet & the 1803 Rising."

Art, Artifacts, Objects

Donations of historical artifacts, objects, art and hard cover titles are welcome. Book sales of duplicate titles are periodically held. Proceeds of our book sales help sustain Library Programming and exhibits.

Membership in the Irish Cultural Centre of New England gives you access to our members only, Lending Library and Music Archives (beta).
